The DBC Exectutive Team met up for our first planning meeting this morning, which follows on from our inaugural AGM in late June where our officers were voted in. Founding members Simmtronic Lighting Controls kindly hosted the meeting at their London offices and a podcast interview was conducted as part of the session by our executive officer Justin Kirby. We hope to be sharing this soon along with more information about our initial Working Groups and membership expansion plans (among other things). You’ll be able to hear and meet the Exectutive Team at the following events:

Sept 4-5: PropTech Connect at the InterContinental London (The O2)
Mike will be particiipating on the A Holistic Approach to Maximising ROI in Smart Building Tech panel that Justin is moderating on the main state on 5th September from 14:50 – 3.35. Mike and his LMG team will also be exhibiting at the event as will Jess and the Simmtronic team (as part of the Smart Buildings Showcase there).

Oct 9-10: Smart Buildings Show at Excel London
Kevin will be on the Harmonizing Demand for Smart Buildings: Trends, Challenges, and Best Practices panel with other DBC members in the PropTech & Management theatre on 9th October from 14:30 – 15:15. Jess will be participating on Rethinking Smart Building ROI and the business case(s) panel that Justin is moderating in the PropTech & Management theatre on 10th October from 10:45 – 11:30. The DBC will be exhibiting at the show on stand C55 where you will be able to meet Jess, Justin, Kevin and Mike along with Hereworks and SES Engineering teams who are also kindly supporting our presence at the event.
