In the second of a new series of profiles we introduce Steering Committee representative Brahm Lategan, Smart Buildings Consultant (Associate) at DBC founding member MiX Consultancy Ltd.
With over two decades in engineering and fifteen years in commercial and operations, Brahm is a leading figure in automation systems for the built environment, specialising in IoT, operational technology, integration, IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity. He is a Smart Buildings Consultant (Associate) at MiX Consultancy Ltd where he draws on his roots as an industrial automation engineer, his practical solutions have served top-tier clients like IKEA and Bloomberg, enhancing operations in commercial real estate and the built environment sector.
Brahm’s work with BSRIA on Bloomberg HQ’s façade and his impactful energy management systems for various NHS Trust’s highlight his innovative approach. He is currently working on a prestigious new HQ on the Holborn Viaduct Farringdon Street junction. A staunch advocate for sustainable practices, Brahm is dedicated to setting industry standards towards net-zero emissions leveraging automation technologies and digital transformation and is a founding member of the DBC. His role transcends consulting; he is a strategist and thought leader in the digital building industry.
